Port of Everett Hires Resident Engineer to Oversee Projects
Greg Dawsey has been hired as a Resident Engineer and Inspector, the Port of Everett announced Tuesday.
"Greg brings tons of hands-on construction experience to the Port," said John Klekotka, Port Director of Engineering and Planning. "He's a very capable engineer, and we're extremely happy to have added him to our team."
Dawsey started at the Port on April 25. He will work mainly on the 14th Street Bulkhead Replacement project, as well as others. His duties will include the inspection and oversight of construction of Port infrastructure work to ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.
Dawsey brings more than 28 years of construction experience to the Port. He most recently worked as a Resident Engineer for Montgomery Watson Harza on various civil infrastructure projects in the Sacramento, Calif. area.
Greg also served as the Inspector for the Port's California Street Overcrossing project, which was completed in 2003.
