Port District Map The Port District encompasses most of Everett and approximately half of Mukilteo. The citizens set the Port’s boundaries and elect Commissioners to govern the Port District.
Closer to the Regional Markets The Port's proximity to Interstate 5 (the main North/South freeway on the U.S. West Coast) allows for congestion-free cargo delivery to and from the metropolitan areas of Washington State and Western Canada.
Closer to the Midwest Everett is the northern point on the Burlington Northern Railroad's main East/West link. Midwest cargo routed through Everett will reach its destination much faster.
Closer to the Pacific The Port of Everett is centrally located on Puget Sound in the state of Washington, 120 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
The Port of Everett provides the closest shipping facility to the Far East and Alaska of any West Coast port. Immediate to the Port is a major airport with jumbo aircraft cargo capabilities.
