Port Commission Meetings
Port Commission Meetings are held at 5 p.m., the first and second Tuesday of each month at the Port's Waterfront Center, located at 1205 Craftsman Way in the Blue Heron Room (second floor).

Please check the calendar, as meeting dates and/or times are subject to change per Port Commission discretion.

Quick Facts:

- The Port of Everett was created in 1918

- Special purpose government tasked with economic development 

- Governed by three Port Commissioners, elected to six year terms

- The Port of Everett is a major economic driver in Snohomish County, supporting more than 35,000 jobs, generating approximately $4.1 billion in business spending, and $249 million in taxes.

- Not a countywide Port District, owns 3,000 acres of land

 - Largest seaport in the state by economic output; 5th largest port on the West Coast by export value; only port listed with a trade surplus

- The Port of Everett is the third largest container port in Washington state

- Specializes in handling high value, heavy cargoes for the aerospace, manufacturing, constructing, mining, energy and forest product industries

- The Port serves as the entry point for a 100 percent of the oversized parts for the 747, 767 (commercial and military), 777 and soon to be 777X airplane programs; is a backup for the 787

- The Port is home to the USS Nimitz and Naval Station Everett

- The Port operates the largest public marina on the West Coast with 2,300 slips; and the state’s largest boat launch with 13-lanes

- The Port owns Jetty Island, the only warm sandy beach in the Puget Sound, and a favorite summer getaway – it is also the Port’s largest property

- The Port is working in cooperation with the Department of Ecology to restore 216 acres of property along the Everett waterfront

- The Port is working on creating a destination at Waterfront Place (Marina District); the Port is marketing the site for jobs, recreation, boating activities and retail.
