Title: Theme for Mukilteo Yacht Club’s 19th Annual Opening Day of Boating Celebration
Mukilteo Yacht Club proudly announces the theme for its 19th annual Opening Day of Boating celebration: “Disco: The Sensational 70’s.” Opening Day will be celebrated on Saturday, May 7th at the Port of Everett. Opening Day activities will include a decorated boat parade and blessing of the fleet. The boat parade is open to all local boaters. The public can see the boats and costumes by walking Docks 5/6 or watching the parade from shore-side locations such as Boxcar Park. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes and best decorated boats. Boaters must pre-register for the parade by calling 425-553-0095 or emailing fleetcaptain@mukilteoyachtclub.com. Mukilteo Yacht Club will be following the current Covid-19 guidelines for Snohomish County and adjustments to the day’s activities may be made as needed.
Why boat alone? Mukilteo Yacht Club is looking for people who are interested in boating. The club offers great camaraderie, monthly meetings, weekend cruises, and reciprocal moorage privileges.
