Final Day For Boeing 747 out of Everett; 737 Max Moves In
Date: Jan 31, 2023
Today marks the final day for the Boeing 747 out of Everett. The last of the iconic "jumbo jet" models has been delivered.
Port of Everett CEO Lisa Lefeber shares her sentiment on behalf of the Port:
“The Port of Everett has been happy to support the custom logistics chain for the amazing Queen of the Skies. While this is an end of an era, it’s comforting to know jobs and commerce will continue to thrive in Everett with yesterday's announcement of the fourth 737 Max line.”
The Port of Everett handled all the oversized parts for the 747.
Here’s a fun throwback photo of the 747, featured in the Port’s “First 100 Years” book.
