On June 18, the Port of Everett Commission awarded a $15.2 million contract to Faber Construction to build out the next phase of retail/restaurant buildings at the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place.

The Lynden-based contractor is set to break ground early next month on two new multi-tenant buildings at parcels A6 and A12 along Fisherman’s Harbor “Restaurant Row” (see image). The project will construct 18,000 sq. ft. of interior space, 3,000 sq. ft. of open air and covered patio spaces, and a 78-stall visitor parking lot.

“We’re excited to deliver this next wave of development and create even more spaces for people to come together at the waterfront while also creating new job opportunities,” said Lisa Lefeber, Port of Everett CEO/Executive Director. “We look forward to welcoming new tenants to round out the dining options here and continuing to bring this community vision to life.”

The building at parcel A12 is being constructed next door to the new Asian-fusion Fisherman Jack’s restaurant and South Fork Baking Co., which opened last year on Seiner Drive. The 12,000 sq. ft. building will soon be home to Everett-based expansions for Rustic Cork Wine Bar, Menchies @ the Marina, Alexa’s Cafe and Tapped Public House.

The building at parcel A6 will add another 6,000 sq. ft. at the corner of Seiner and West Marine View drives near the Grand Avenue Park Bridge. It will house The Net Shed, a new fish-and-chips bar and fish market, with the balance of the building seeking a Mexican restaurant.

Both buildings are expected to reach substantial completion in spring 2025, with tenant improvements to follow the Port contractor’s work. Businesses are expected to open next summer.
