Walk/Bike/Scooter

The City of Everett’s Grand Avenue Park Bridge provides pedestrian access to the waterfront from Grand Avenue Park at 16th Street to the Port of Everett waterfront via West Marine View Drive. The bridge has an elevator, so it’s an accessible route for wheelchairs, strollers and bicycles. If you take the bridge from the park, 1800 Grand Ave., you’ll end up near the Port of Everett’s South Marina by Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant, 1620 West Marine View Drive.

You also can take the Mill Town Trail for a 6.8-mile sidewalk stroll through Everett’s history. A Historic Everett map shows that this stretch of the city was once a booming mill town. The map circumnavigates much of the Port of Everett, pointing out historically significant sites along the way, such as mills, businesses and parks. This is an out-and-back trail – so unless you’re riding a bicycle, you may not be able to finish it in one go.

There’s also the Port’s Millwright Loop Trail located between 10th and 18th streets off West Marine View Drive, made up of 4 miles of sidewalks and boardwalks, which provides pedestrian access to the Port’s marina facilities. This trail connects into the larger Mill Town Trail system and is dotted with art installations and interpretive boards.

Drive

Of course, you can also take a personal vehicle to the Port of Everett waterfront – although if you do, carpooling is always encouraged as parking is limited and in high demand. Visitors can park for free in select visitor lots at the Port of Everett for up to two hours (except during special events and select demand times). If you plan to stay longer, visitor parking rates apply. You can pay via web, mobile app, text-to-pay or by walk-up pay stations in several locations. Check out the Port’s latest Visitor Parking Map so you know where to park before you get here (subject to changes).
