Marina & Jetty Island Cleanup Day

The Port of Everett hosts its annual Marina & Jetty Island Cleanup Day on the Saturday closest to Earth Day. With your help, we can keep the Port of Everett waterfront a clean place to visit. Transportation is provided to and from Jetty Island. Gloves, trash bags and pickers are supplied.

Union Slough Cleanups

The Port of Everett partners with EarthCorps to help monitor and maintain the health of the Port's Union Slough Saltmarsh, including hosting work parties to control invasive plants. Volunteers help remove English ivy, Himalayan blackberry, purple loosestrife and reed canary grass at the salt marsh restoration site. The 24-acre site off Highway 529 and 40th Place NE is a habitat and restoration project that has provided mitigation for Port projects.

Jetty Island Beach Cleanups

On occasion, the Everett Sea Scouts, Navy Sea Cadets, Everett Sail & Power Squadron and other local organizations coordinate volunteer cleanup events at Jetty Island’s 2-mile-long beach. Check the Port of Everett calendar for the latest schedule of events and opportunities.
