Holiday on the Bay 5K

You’re invited to join us at Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place for the inaugural Holiday on the Bay 5K! The Port is excited to launch this new event in partnership with Snohomish Running Company to provide an exciting new addition to the Port’s winter festivities. We encourage runners and walkers of all skill levels to join in on the fun! Participants will enjoy a picturesque flat route with sweeping views of the Port of Everett Marina, Port Gardner Bay, and the Olympic Mountains. You don’t want to miss the first wintertime run at the waterfront! Register today and prepare to don your best blue and white winter-themed garb on Sunday, Dec. 3. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. sharp!

Registration includes a race shirt and finisher medal. Pick up your run packet at the Port of Everett’s Holiday on the Bay festival the day before the 5K, Saturday, Dec. 2, between noon and 4 p.m. at the Pacific Rim Plaza, (1028 13^th St., Everett).

What time does the race start?

9:00AM. However, we suggest you arrive 30 minutes prior to the start if you have already picked up your race packet and 45 minutes if you will still need to pickup your packet.

Are there time cutoffs for the different distances?

The Race course will close at 10:30AM.

Where will we park?

We will send out an email with participants details which will show you where to park. This email will come out approximately 1 week prior to the race.

Where and when will packet pickup be?

Packet pickup will be at the Port of Everett’s Holiday on the Bay festival on December 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at Pacific Rim Plaza (1028 13th St., Everett WA 98201).

I registered awhile ago but haven't received any communication from you about the event?

We will send out the participant e-mail with all event details on the Tuesday prior to the race. This will go over parking, race day schedule and more.

I wasn't present to receive my award. Can you mail it to me?

You must be present to receive age group and overall winner awards. We do not mail out awards or t-shirts.

What is a bib?

A bib is your race number. You will wear it pinned to the front of your clothes on race day. It’s important to have it visible because it also has your timing chip on it. Race photos will also be found via your race number.

I can't do the race, but I'd like my shirt. What should I do? Can you mail it to me?

You, or a friend, should come to packet pickup or race day and pick up your shirt. Shirts will not be mailed out or available for pickup after the race.

When does the course close?

10:30AM

Are walkers allowed?

Yes! As long you are able to meet the time requirements stated above.

Are strollers and / or dogs allowed?

Strollers are allowed. However, dogs or any animals are not allowed. This is an insurance issue.

Do I get a finisher's medal?

Yes! Everyone will get a finisher’s medal.

Will there be porta-potties on the course?

Yes! We will include this information with the participant e-mail which will go out prior to the race.

What is in my race packet? What is packet pickup?

Your race packet will contain your bib, timing chip, and race shirt.

Can someone else pick up my packet?

Yes, absolutely. However, they will need a copy of your Driver's License.

Can I sign up day of race?

Day of race registration will be available IF the race has not sold out prior. We encourage you to sign up online.

Is there a gear check?

Yes! However, you will need to bring your own bag and we will provide you will a gear check tag.
