NOTICE: Temporary Closure of Port of Everett Marina Fuel Dock  Sept. 19, 2023 to Sept. 21, 2023

Date: Sep 15, 2023

Update: September 22, 2023 - 5:45 p.m.

The Port of Everett Fuel Dock is now reopened for gas and diesel service. The fuel dock will offer extended hours tonight and tomorrow morning. The dock will remain open tonight until 7 p.m., and reopen for service at 7 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 23. We thank you all for your patience and understanding as we worked through this issue.

Update: September 21, 2023 - 10:30 a.m.

An unfortunate software communication issue came up while making the final transition of the fuel lines to the new fuel tanks. This has resulted in an extended closure of the fuel dock. The Port and the Contractor are working as quickly as we can to restore service before the weekend. We will update you as soon as possible. In the meantime, please plan your fueling needs accordingly. We have contacted the Port of Edmonds and they are aware of this and are ready support. We will post an update when the fuel dock reopens. We want to apologize to our boating community for this inconvenience, especially on the Coho Derby weekend.

Update: September 19, 2023 - 4:30 p.m.

Port contractor Glacier Environmental Services has notified the Port that the temporary fuel dock closure will need to extend thru tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 20, with plans to reopen on Thursday, Sept. 21. Thank you for your understanding.

Please be advised: The first phase of the two-part $9.8 million project to upgrade the Port of Everett’s aging Marina Fuel Dock is nearing completion in the Millwright District. Fuel lines to two new 30,000-gallon underground tanks — one for diesel, the other for gas — have been installed in the Central Marina parking lot.

The Port's contractor is scheduled to complete the switchover of the fuel lines to the new tanks on Tuesday, Sept. 19. The fueling system is anticipated to be down for less than 24 hours as the transition is made. Please plan your fueling needs accordingly.
