In the early hours of Sunday, January 14, around approximately 2:45 a.m., local fire and police departments responded to a fire that broke out at the Port of Everett Marina at Central I-Dock. The fire was quickly contained; however, two boathouses and their respective vessels located near the middle of the dock sustained extensive damage. We are continuing to evaluate damage to the surrounding boathouses, vessels and dock infrastructure at this time. Thankfully there are no reports of injuries. Everett Fire and Everett Police departments are on site. A fire watch is in place and Everett Fire Department’s Marine 1 is standing ready in the water. We want to thank the boater who acted fast in calling the fire in, along with Port staff, and all of the first responders who worked quickly to contain the fire.
